| Can I become a crew member?
|
|
Sailing Friends = Crew MemberTheoretically, anybody can become a crew member (also known as sailing friend). You don't have to be an old sea dog, to come along with us. And just because you've never been along, that doesn't mean that you will only get to sit around like a bump on a log and gaze at the scenery, either. Everybody gets the opportunity to help - whether it be raising the sails, trimming the sails, anchoring the boat, sailing or making lunch, if you want to do that, too. We love it, when people ask questions about sailing, and are really happy if you want to help sail the boat, because your help is just as important as the skipper's help. You see, when you sail with us, you're part of the crew, and not a passenger on the Love Boat. |

Having a positive attitude and being able to get along with
other people are the keys to a pleasant holiday. Of course, everyone
is peculiar in his own way, but you should just try to not take this too
seriously, and it will make the trip a lot more fun. Politeness and
consideration are very important.

As crew member, you'll sometimes find yourself being the cook, the guest, the maid or butler, the helmsman, the storyteller, the listner, the navigator, or even the craftsman. No one has fixed duties. Ladies won't be sentenced to be galley slaves, and not just the men get to steer the ship. |
